What is Membership?
By donating $50 or more to Idaho Shakespeare Festival each season, as a membership donation, you become a valued Festival Member! Memberships are annual donations that help bring exceptional theater to the Treasure Valley and beyond. Your support is critical to each production, educational tour, and outreach initiative throughout Idaho.
Plus, as a member, you get exclusive early access to reserving season ticket subscriptions, listing in the printed season program, as well as Membership appreciation displayed in the above chart. Your gift makes you a vital part of the magic of professional theater in Idaho!

How can I become a Member?
It’s easy to join! Donate online HERE or call us at (208) 429-9908 ext. 214. Your Membership gift goes directly towards creating unforgettable theater experiences in Idaho.

When can I give my Membership?
You can give your Membership at any time! If you want early access to season ticket subscriptions, make sure your gift is completed during/before your designated Membership Appreciation Window. You may donate online or over the phone.

What are Membership Appreciation Windows?
These are early access windows for purchasing season ticket subscriptions ahead of the general public. While your Membership Appreciation Window doesn’t guarantee specific seats, it gives you a head start on reservations as our way of saying “thank you” for your support. See below for 2025 Membership appreciation window*

*Missed your window? No worries! You can still purchase subscriptions after your Membership window opens. Members always receive priority.
Seating/dates are subject to availability at the time of purchase.

2026 Membership Appreciation Windows:

• Founder ($25,000): Nov 17th – 23rd
• Champion ($10,000): Nov 17th – 23rd
• Patron ($5,000): Nov 17th – 23rd
• Benefactor ($3,000): Nov 24th – 30th
• Producer ($2000): Dec 1st – 7th
• Director ($1,000): Dec 8th – 14th
• Associate ($500): Dec 15th – 21st 
• Partner($250): Dec 22nd – 28th
• Advocate ($100) Dec 29th – Jan. 4th
• Friend ($50): Jan 5th – 11th 
• Non-Membership season subscription reservations begin January 12th

What is Historical Giving?
The Festival is deeply grateful for the loyalty of longtime Members who give year after year. As a sign of appreciation, your membership category may also be determined by the number of years you’ve been giving a Membership gift. There is a table below to find your Historical Giving Level.

For example, if you have been giving a Membership gift for 6 years, you are considered a ‘Partner’ and will receive benefits in the Partner category. You can choose your Membership based on your Historical Giving OR based on your annual Membership amount. *Historical Giving benefits continue with ongoing Memberships at any level. Historical Giving Appreciation:

• Annual Member for 5+ Years: Partner
• Annual Member for 10+ Years: Associate
• Annual Member for 15+ Years: Director
• Annual Member for 20+ Years: Producer
• Annual Member for 25+ Years: Benefactor
• Annual Member for 30+ Years: Patron
• Annual Member for 35+ Years: Champion
• Annual Member for 40+ Years: Founder

What is a Season Ticket Subscription?
A Season Ticket Subscription includes tickets to 3, 4, or 5 mainstage shows at the Idaho Shakespeare Festival. As a Member, you get first access to purchase these subscriptions before the general public.

Note: Early access applies only to season subscriptions, not single tickets.

How do I reserve my Season Ticket Subscription?
When your Membership Appreciation Window opens, you can reserve subscriptions online HERE or call the box office at (208) 336-9221.

Online Ordering Tips:

• When ordering online, you will choose the date and seating section. Our system will then seat your tickets in the best available seating, meaning the most forward and center seats available in that seating section. If you are interested in choosing the exact seat numbers when booking, we recommend calling the box office, and a Representative can assist you. Seating is based on availability at the time of your purchase within your Membership window.
• To book tickets while making your Membership donation, please call the Box Office for one transaction.

When will I know my confirmed dates and seats?
At the time of purchase! No need to wait for a second confirmation like past seasons.

Does my ticket purchase count as a donation?
No. Ticket sales only cover half of Idaho Shakespeare Festival’s annual operating costs. Your Membership donation makes a significant impact, allowing us to deliver quality productions and vital community programs. Your Membership truly brings theater to life in our state!

Your gift underwrites:

• Professional performances and artist support.
• Year-round educational programming, benefiting more than 40,000 students through statewide school tours and community outreach.
• Access programs such as ASL performances, real-time captioning, and live audio descriptions.
• Opportunities for community members in need to experience a show at no cost.
