Apprentice Program

2019 Apprentice Showcase

Become a Part of the Idaho Shakespeare Festival

One of a Kind 10-Week Program!

2020 Apprentice Company Program runs June 2- August 10 and will work with student conflicts.

We at ISF School of Theater invite you to audition for the Apprentice Company (via video, see below) so we can all plan for the brighter days of summer, days that we hope turn out as lovely as summers past.  Please be assured, as we mention below, that we are rehearsing our flexibility skills, and will nimbly adjust as needed to current reality as summer approaches.

Ever thanks,
Dir. Of Education Veronica Von Tobel & ISF School of Theater Teaching Staff

Regarding the current COVID-19 situation, Idaho Shakespeare Festival is following the lead of city, state and federally elected officials, as well as implementing strategies recommended by public health authorities. We are also working closely with Idaho Foundation for Parks & Lands and the Idaho Department of Parks & Recreation as we maintain our regularly scheduled camps, events and performances this summer as planned. We remain vigilant, and are prepared to make decisions based on current needs, as well as in response to changing conditions.

Idaho’s premier professional theater offers an Apprentice Program for Treasure Valley high-school students. Program includes over 200 hours of intensive acting instruction and a performance showcase on the Festival’s main stage. Apprentices may also work backstage on season productions. Admission by audition only. Tuition: $800, scholarships available.
